Stober gearheads use cylinder roller bearings at output. This reduces rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. Compared to ball bearings, roller bearings can support heavy radial loads. They can operate at moderate to high speeds. The selection of synthetic oil VG150 as part of the careful selection process during the design phase. Stober's gearheads have been the gearheads of choice on Applied Materials CMP machines since 2003 when Reflexion LK systems were shipped. Subsequently, Stober's gearheads are also selected for legacy Applied Materials CMP Mirra and Reflexion systems. |
